Jyoseikan is located in the castle town of Kochi Castle, the birthplace of Ryoma, and in Kamimachi, Kochi City.
Customers by plane: Kochi Ryoma Airport > There is a connecting bus (Kochi Ekimae Kanko or Tosaden Kotsu) to Kochi Station. Get off at Harimaya Bridge > You can take a tram to Uemachi 1-chome (in front of Jyoseikan). If you are transferring to a tram, get off at the shuttle bus "Harimayabashi", change to the tram, and get off at Kamimachi 1-chome. The tram stop is right in front of the Jyoseikan (10 seconds on foot).
By car: The nearest highway interchange is the Kochi Expressway "Kochi IC". If you are coming from the up line, please use the "Ino IC".
Kochi IC > Prefectural Road 44 > National Road 33 (Train Street) > Jyoseikan (about 20 minutes)
Ino IC > National Highway No. 33 (train street) > Jyoseikan (about 15 minutes)
Customers using the train: If you come by train, please use the JR Dosan Line "Kochi Station (or Iriake Station, Engyojiguchi Station, Asahi Station)". For public transportation from the station, please use a fixed-route bus, tram (Tosa Electric Railway), or a taxi.
If you take the tram (Tosa Electric Railway) from JR Kochi Station, you can reach the main entrance in about 10 seconds on foot from the Kamimachi 1-chome stop of the tram. |
